About Us

Our
Story

Colia Productions has been a vital partner to content production since 2005. Ne’e Le’au, founder and owner/operator, originally hailing from American Samoa, moved to Hollywood over 30 years ago, packing up everything he owned along with the values he was raised with - cooperation and respect for all people. He quickly rose through the ranks in the Art Department, contributing to over 1000 episodes of television, working with everyone from Emmy Award Winning Producers to New Artists. His profound knowledge encompasses all facets of production, making Colia a beacon of expertise in the field.

His passion for sustainability quickly led him to identify a gap in the Hollywood landscape, known for generating mass amounts of waste, leading him to work with Nickelodeon’s vast production slate to create a program for reusing common set dressing items, reducing production expenditures while reducing their environmental impact.

Client referrals have been the lifeblood of Ne’e's business, a testament to the enduring relationships he has built from the beginning. As he looks to the future, he remains committed to fostering these connections and preserving the culture of respect within the industry. In the dynamic world of Hollywood, Ne’e's journey stands as a testament to the power of sustainability, relationships, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive space for all.
